Remain to be seen if he is a doubt for sunday top of the table clash with Manchester city at Anfield.
A statement from Liverpool website state that he was transfer to a local hospital in Naple to underwent a series of precautionary health check.
Should he not be ready on sunday , he will be replace by Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.
