Jack Wighton and Latrell Mitchell have been cleared over an incident from early-2023, with charges against the South Sydney superstars dropped in court on Wednesday.
The close friends were involved in an altercation in Canberra back in February, which saw the pair arrested and charged with a number of offences.
Mitchell and Wighton - who are now set to play together at the Rabbitohs in the coming years after the latter's move from the Raiders - faced court this week and have now been exonerated.
The lead police officer involved in the arrest admitted to giving false evidence and lying under oath, leading to the high-profile footballers earning a favourable result.
